I know what you’re thinking… well dang, how am I supposed to follow these points when I haven’t been doing so for the past 40 plus years?
I know it’s hard as hell; I’m going through those same challenges myself, but I would rather attempt a new lifestyle to decrease my chances of getting prostate cancer, while increasing my overall health, than to stick with my old bad habits. If you can’t do it for you, do it for your family and friends who love you, and your loss will directly impact their lives.
Besides, you do not have to go cold turkey, unless directed by a medical professional. Baby steps first, limit the red meat and processed food consumption, increase your water (not beer) intake daily, stay away from the cake and ice cream as much as possible… and as time goes on you will gradually see yourself looking and feeling better, while concurrently keeping your prostate healthy.
